Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for leading teams and driving financial excellence in the construction sector? A growing company in Kettering, is seeking a talented Finance Manager to join their dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Head of Finance during a period of business expansion, managing key financial processes and mentoring a team of three.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Oversee Sales and Purchase ledger teams, ensuring coding accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage monthly payroll processing in collaboration with HR and submit CIS and VAT returns.
  • Monitor project data to support robust financial tracking and reporting.
  • Support the implementation of new ERP software (COINS).
  • Assist with annual audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three direct reports in finance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
  • Ideally construction, housebuilding or utilities sector experience but not essential
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and mentoring teams.
  • Strong organisational skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ideally familiar with ERP systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
